When you are finally able to see, that you ARE the universe. That everything that has ever happened in all of existence has brought you here to this moment. And that you in turn, will have an eternal impact on all that is to come.
When you truly see the oneness of all creation, you may be so overwhelmed with terrible beauty, you may, for a time, shatter. But it is in that shattered state, when you are reassembling, that you are able to leave behind the pieces that no longer serve you. To let go of the identities and ideologies that limit you. And the crown of specialness and ego, of separation, will fall from your head and the weight of its suffering will cease to be.
Then you will be free to be what you truly are. A manifestation of infinite awareness, perfect, exactly as you are.
I see now that suffering has its purpose. Not to punish, but to teach, to awaken! Somewhere deep inside me, I've always known this.
